<image:title>Fire - Fire’s Center Clinic Renovation - Ft. Sill, OK</image:title>
<image:caption>The Fires Center Clinic is inside Reynolds Army Community Hospital at Fort Sill, OK. The project was complete renewal and repair of all failing systems, components of systems, finishes, etc. Exterior walls, curtain walls, doors remained, as did structural columns. All interior flooring, ceilings, walls, equipment, finishes and furniture were replaced. The Scope of Work included the Fires Center Clinic and Internal Medicine, approximately 18,000 square feet. The project was completed in 3 phases. In the first phase, the entire area where the new Internal Medicine Clinic was going to be located, had to be demolished. Then renewal began to include a waiting and reception with “world class” finishes, numerous exam rooms, offices, a treatment room and a staff lounge. In phase two, half of the Fires Center Clinic had to be demolished, after the staff working in that area was relocated into the remaining half of the clinic. Upon completion of phase two, all staff was moved to the renovated half of the clinic, while the team demolished the remaining portion. When it was finished, all employees were able to move into their permanent spaces, which included a waiting and reception, exams, treatment rooms, offices, staff lounge, locker rooms, and several sets of restrooms. The waiting area featured a maintenance free “bubble wall” water feature. All mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems were renovated in the project area. LEED for Healthcare was followed, even though not obtainable, due to the clinics being inside a large building that not entirely being renovated. $6.5 M / 18,000 SF This project was designed by Prigm personnel prior to joining Prigm Engineering.</image:caption>

<image:title>Mercy - Mercy Patient Tower Addition & Renovation - Rogers, AR</image:title>
<image:caption>The new eight story, 275,000-square-foot patient tower created 68 new patient beds, including 17 neonatal unit beds. It also included a complete renovation of the hospital’s core support services departments: materials management, central sterile processing, environmental services, laboratories and compounding pharmacy. In addition, a two-story vertical expansion above the existing Emergency Department added five new operating rooms to the surgery suite. The building’s lower three levels accommodate an operating room expansion, diagnostic facilities and other hospital support spaces. Patient rooms are housed on the facility’s upper levels, with shelled space on the 6th and 7th floor to accommodate future growth. A mechanical penthouse is located on the facility’s 8th floor. Situated to the west of the existing hospital building, the new tower seamlessly ties in to the original structure at each level. Coordinated construction phasing enabled the building team to minimize disruption during the expansion while enabling the renovation of each core department to increase its overall capacity and enhance patient care. A new 750-ton water cooled chiller and associated cooling tower were added to the Central energy Plant. This project was designed to meet LEED Silver Standards and Energy Star Certification. $147.0 M / 275,000 SF This project was designed by Prigm personnel prior to joining Prigm Engineering.</image:caption>

<image:caption>After being demolished by hurricane Irma, this private resort island was redesigned and upgraded. The new island design consists of several cottages, 2-story restaurant, 2-story spa, fitness building, employee sleeping & dining building, and sewage treatment plant. Designed new, two-story restaurant for an island resort in the Florida Keys. The restaurant consisted of two kitchens, an elevator, and multiple dining areas. Part of the restaurant seating is exterior, and some of it interior. A bar separated the interior and exterior seating sections. Open air would be allowed to flow into the interior via large open windows and French doorways. All new utilities were designed for the building. This restaurant was in a floodplain and was limited on utility resources, making it a unique design to venture around these obstacles. A lighting dimming system was designed to allow management to adjust lighting mood based on the event or time of day. The restaurant has a walk-in freezer and cooler, a walk-in wine cooler, and a gift shop and convenience store for the resort patrons. <image:caption>Vol Walker Hall was originally constructed in the 1930’s and is on the National Historic Register. The goal of this restoration and modern addition was not only to accommodate the growth of the school of Architecture, but to incorporate both Landscape Architecture and Interior Design curriculum. The facade is clad with Indiana Limestone, architectural concrete and fritted glass to compliment the original building. This state-of-the-art facility includes design studios, digital technologies and fabrication, a 200-seat lecture hall, an exhibition gallery, student and faculty lounge areas and a green roof. The design studios offer hand and power tools, and computer-controlled equipment. The digital shop allows students and faculty to transform software files into three-dimensional designs. The wood and metal shop supports construction projects ranging from light fixtures and furniture to three-dimensional models. The fourth floor of the addition also includes a classroom, directly under the 20-feet long rectangular skylight, that illuminates the second-floor gallery. The faculty offices each have with a view to the building’s green roof. This facility was awarded LEED Gold Certification. $36.6 M / 94,800 SF This project was designed by Prigm personnel prior to joining Prigm Engineering.</image:caption>
